Along with falls, electrocution, and struck-by accidents, OSHA has placed a national focus on incidents when workers are caught in or between vehicles, equipment, or machinery among the Focus Four, the most dangerous hazards found on construction worksites. By definition, a caught-in/-between hazard occurs wherever workers may become pinned, crushed, squeezed, or caught between moving and/or stationary objects. When these accidents occur, they often result in injury or even death.
